Since then, new migratory routes have brought diversified flows that compose the actual Brazilian migratory scenario. Along with these issues related to the control of people movement and the life management in the cities has arisen. This paper aims to discuss issues concerning the immigrants’ vulnerability in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo that goes beyond the official migratory policies. Methodologically we use qualitative data provided from participant observation carried out between 2017-2019, semi-structured interviews and quantitative data collected from a documentary analysis by the Federal Police, CONARE, IBGE and Atlas of the São Paulo macro-metropolis were used to compose the reflections presented. In conclusion, this paper argues that immigrants’’ everyday life is composed by a transversal “ordinary provisional” in relation to the city’s dynamics. |

A partir dos anos 2010 as migrações internacionais têm se intensificado e o Brasil se torna um dos destinos para muitos imigrantes no sentido “sul-sul”. Desde então, rotas migratórias inéditas e variadas nacionalidades passam a compor o cenário migratório brasileiro. Conjuntamente a esse processo, surgem dilemas e questões ligadas ao controle da circulação das pessoas até a gestão da vida dos imigrantes no cotidiano das cidades. O objetivo deste artigo é o de aprofundar as questões relativas à vulnerabilidade da população migrante na grande São Paulo que transcendem o nível jurídico restrito às leis migratórias. Metodologicamente, foram utilizados dados qualitativos provindos de observação participante realizada entre 2017 e 2019, bem como entrevistas semiestruturadas e dados quantitativos coletados de análise documental da Polícia Federal, CONARE, IBGE, OBMIGRA e Atlas da Macrometrópole Paulista.
