This paper proposes an analysis of the Economy of Communion (EoC) from four perspectives. It starts from a historical rescue that shows the socioeconomic context that preceded EoC and how this context contributed to the way it was established. Then, it discusses its institutional development, considering its worldwide dimension. Subsequently, two concrete projects developed by Brazilian EoC are presented. These projects are pioneering in the international EoC context. The perspectives and challenges of EoC in Brazil and in the world are discussed and, finally, the conclusions are presented. |

Inclusão social e desenvolvimento sustentável são temas que ganham cada vez mais relevo em discussões sobre empreendedorismo na atualidade. A Economia de comunhão (EdC) surgiu como uma proposta de visão e prática econômica que coloca o ser humano no centro, portanto, para ela estes temas são cruciais. Este artigo propõe uma análise da Economia de Comunhão (EdC) a partir de quatro perspectivas. Ele parte de um resgate histórico no qual evidencia o contexto socioeconômico que a precedeu e como este contexto contribuiu para o modo como esta foi delineada. Em seguida, ele versa sobre o desenvolvimento institucional da EdC considerando sua dimensão mundial. Posteriormente são apresentados dois projetos concretos desenvolvidos no Brasil pela EdC, que têm caráter pioneiro no âmbito da EdC internacional.
