Sumario:This study aims to analyze the literary work “O Estrangeiro”. Our goal is to find the core of the collective representation of legally sanctionable violence from violent events described in the book. To get to this core, the data were organized into two categories: the not alleged facts (which contributed negative definitions) and the alleged facts (bearing a positive definition, but contextually incomplete isolates). Joining these data we seek to get to the core of this collective representation of violence attributable.
