O presente trabalho se propõe a realizar uma reflexão a respeito da metodologia de pesquisa utilizada e divulgada por Pierre Bourdieu em sua carreira. A partir de uma compilação bibliográfica serão abordados alguns conceitos fundamentais para aqueles que buscam dominar a maneira pela qual Bourdieu fazia sua sociologia e transitava entre diversas áreas do conhecimento, como a antropologia, a estatística e a lingüística.
