| Sumario: | Brazil is a Republic of political dynasties, as these families are present in all spheres of public power in the periods of Colony, Empire, Republic and in contemporary times. The research sought to investigate the direct relationship between the rise of Brazilian conservatism and the increase of political dynasties in the Chamber of Deputies. For this, it was necessary to trace the biographical trajectory of all 513 congressman and congresswoman and understand the specific logic of the action of those belonging to political dynasties. The purpose was to verify which political spectrum these parliamentarians are in. |
