Sumario:In the present article we intend to make a comparative study between the mobilizations that took place in the post-Soviet space known as the "Color Revolutions" in contrast to the Mexican movement of Andrés Manuel López Obrador. We analyze movements that might seem similar because they fight against authoritarianism or alternate versions of democracy after electoral days accused of fraudulent results but viewed from the geopolitical aspect they affect the interests of the West –and particularly of the United States- in a different way, so they may triumph or are discredited, affecting the neoliberal project.
