Este trabalho foi elaborado de acordo com as leituras de textos sugeridos e pelas aulas assistidas na disciplina Introdução de Estudos de Literatura e Filosofia cujo objetivo era a análise da construção do suicídio através das cartas e do sofrimento do personagem Werther, revelando a impossibilidade de concretizar o seu ideal romântico de amor pela jovem Charlotte.
