Nunez begins from identifying the action of community members facing social problems, and the moment this action becomes a crime. In this process, the offenders are assisted by social workers and other agents who form social networks linked by common ground in debates about crime prevention. Nunez's main criticism is towards public policies aiming to solve certain problems from an outsider's viewpoint, far from the offender's view of the problem. Thus, the author states that facing the problems and diverse situations experienced by offenders in social groups and their communities in the everyday life requires intense dialogue among their members.Keywords: Crime prevention. A resenha traz à superfície a proposta metodológica presente no livro de Rodolfo Alberto Nunez, Redes Comunitárias: influências teórico metodológicas e crônicas de intervenção. Rodolfo trata do trabalho social em Buenos Aires no processo de resolução de problemas ligados a prevenção de delito. O autor analisa a participação dos membros da comunidade no envolvimento em redes sociais para enfrentar as situações delitivas que alguns jovens participaram. Sua critica principal recai sob as formas de concepção de políticas públicas que visam resolver problemas delitivos estando distante das redes sociais dos jovens e das situações que exigem prevenção. Com isto, o autor afirma que o enfrentamento dos diversos problemas e das distintas situações experimentadas por grupos sociais e comunidades em seu cotidiano exige um intenso diálogo entre seus membros.Palavras-chave: Prevenção de delitos.
