O presente trabalho tem como finalidade avaliar as causas que levaram à formação da estrutura agrária atual em Paraguai, Argentina e Uruguai bem como as características do modelo agroexportador praticado nestes países, que se baseia na produção e exportação de soja. Por sua importância contemporânea e representar a maior parte da produção agrária dos países em estudo, é estabelecido o objetivo de identificar as particularidades e semelhanças da produção de soja entre estes, no que diz respeito à sua estrutura produtiva bem como os benefícios e impactos gerados por esta.
