In recent years, we have seen that ICTs have come to play a relevant role in the teaching of foreign languages, being used by teachers, e.g. for the acquisition and development of teaching material, and for students to learn more about the country, people and target language culture. In this article I demonstrate the use of the internet, more specifically the work with WebQuests, and how I familiarize Brazilian beginner learners from German with the city of Berlin. |

Investigaciones neurocientíficas han demostrado que cuanto más sentidos están involucrados en el proceso de aprendizaje, mayores son las posibilidades de que las informaciones sean almacenadas en el cerebro. En este contexto, Internet y las nuevas tecnologías de la información y comunicación (TIC) pueden ser medios ideales en la activación de diversos sentidos y para el fomento del proceso de aprendizaje. En los últimos años las TIC pasaron a desempeñar un papel relevante en la enseñanza de lenguas extranjeras, siendo utilizadas por los profesores, por ejemplo, para la adquisición y el desarrollo de material didáctico, y por los alumnos para aprender más sobre el país, las personas y la cultura de la lengua alvo. En este artículo demuestro el uso de Internet, más específicamente el trabajo con WebQuest, y como familiarizo a aprendices principiantes brasileños del alemán con la ciudad de Berlín. Pesquisas neurocientíficas têm demonstrado que quanto mais sentidos são envolvidos no processo de aprendizagem, maiores são as chances das informações serem armazenadas no cérebro. Neste contexto, a internet e as novas tecnologias da informação (TIC) podem ser meios ideais na ativação de diversos sentidos e ajudar no processo de aprendizagem. Nos últimos anos, presenciamos que as TICs passaram a desempenhar um papel relevante no ensino de línguas estrangeiras, sendo utilizadas pelos professores, p. ex., para a aquisição e desenvolvimento de material de ensino, e pelos alunos para aprender mais sobre o país, pessoas e cultura da língua-alvo.
