O ensaio “O infinito e o infinito”, do escritor, filósofo e teórico da literatura Maurice Blanchot, apresenta um exercício de literatura comparada entre Jorge Luis Borges e a poesia de Henry Michaux, produzida quando este último se submeteu a testes científicos de uso da mescalina. Blanchot une distintos universos, e no contato entre as diferenças do escritor latino-americano e do francês, irrompe a iluminação.
