Cet article cherche à analyser le système de la comparaison et l’emploi qu’en fait Amélie Nothomb dans le chapitre sur la sursoif du livre Biographie de la faim. L’objectif est de montrer comment Nothomb utilise les divers procédés de la comparaison pour évoquer ses souvenirs d’enfance – une phase d’exaltation où les sensations et les sentiments sont exagérés à outrance.
