El artículo muestra la percepción de los residentes y líderes de Quilombo Sacopã (Río de Janeiro-RJ) sobre el poder judicial brasileño en los diversos procesos en los que busca el reconocimiento de sus derechos: territoriales y culturales. El objetivo es discutir la judicialización de la experiencia de las comunidades quilombolas de Río de Janeiro, que están involucradas en varios procesos, sea para la titulación de sus territorios, o sea en relación con los vecinos, los ocupantes e incluso el poder público. O artigo mostra a percepção de moradores e lideranças do Quilombo Sacopã (Rio de Janeiro-RJ) sobre o Judiciário brasileiro nos diversos processos em que pleiteia o reconhecimento de seus direitos – territoriais e culturais.
