| Sumario: | It brings about a very up to date criticai approach of the role of the intelligentsia, the sociologists in particular, and their various possibilities of insertion in the social reality, having in mind the concept of the organic intellectual of Gramsci, which links the social group to its intelligentsia. The author faces the dilema of her own expectation, out of control as she says, of previewing the future with lots of criticai sociologists concerned of the most fundamental contradictions of contemporaneity and the realism of diversity which includes the withdrawing of the labour class perspective and the consequent convenient adhesion of the hegemonic groups. |
