O objetivo deste trabalho é o de estudar o processo de criação da paródia na crônica “O sermão do Diabo”, de Machado de Assis, examinando os expedientes de que se vale o narrador na confrontação da voz enunciativa com o discurso instituído – “O sermão do monte”, de Mateus.
