As potencialidades da escrita no conto “Os corpos cercados”, inserido em Os pregos na erva (1962), de Maria Gabriela Llansol, vêm à tona por meio de “cenas fulgor” (expressão da própria autora) e pela permeabilidade das fronteiras entre os gêneros literários, o que dá origem a um texto em que a forma narrativa conto dialoga com a poesia. Esse aspecto híbrido desloca a narratividade para a textualidade, pois se divisa um enredo que se constrói pela quase total ausência de acontecimentos, enquanto o processo de experimentação com a linguagem domina. O espaço textual sugere um campo de concentração que sobrepõe corpos, sons, ritmo e imagens.
