En este artículo, se analizará la relación entre algunos paradigmas nietzscheanos y Juegos de la edad tardía de Luis Landero. El impulso dionisíaco se combina con la voluntad de azar, la voluntad de riesgo y la voluntad de libertad para permitir al protagonista vivir una vida fantasiosa y una real. Por un lado, Gregorio construye un mundo imaginario; y por el otro, trata de dominar a las personas como Gil, la asistente del profesor y su esposa.
