Este artigo pretende mostrar que o livro de poesia de Péricles Prade, Memória Grega e Outros Poemas Viajantes, pertence à antiga tradição dos “livros de viagem”, cultivados, ao longo dos tempos, por viajantes como Plínio, Marco Polo, Fernão Mendes Pinto, Daniel Defoe, Swift, Garrett, Humboldt.
