Carlos Fuentes ha pasado a la posteridad como uno de los más grandes escritores en lengua española. Nuestro objetivo será revisar la simbiosis de la Historia con su vida y con sus obras, desde la época de los sesenta y hasta su muerte, para hacer un balance sobre la influencia que ejerció como figura intelectual en la difusión de la cultura de su momento, mediante la creación de un mapa de la literatura de América Latina desde su magisterio.
