A aversão à violência é uma temática recorrente na ficção do escritor Erico Verissimo. Nos seus romances há sempre vozes que se levantam e denunciam os males causados por ela aos seres humanos. Dentre essas vozes utilizadas pelo autor para combatê-la, talvez a mais forte seja a voz feminina. Nesse sentido, apresentamos neste artigo algumas reflexões sobre o horror da guerra, feitas por algumas de suas principais personagens: Clarissa, Ana Terra, Bibiana e Maria Valéria.
