Therefore, the article has the objective of reevaluating the conventions from the return to the historical and personal past, so as to provoke ruptures and establish new relationships between life and art in contemporary Brazilian narrative. |

Avaliação do Novo Realismo literário na obra de três contistas brasileiros, da segunda metade do século XX, no que concernem as principais características da narrativa pós-moderna. Entre elas estão: a problematização do referente da narrativa, o questionamento do ato de narrar a partir de uma relação de distanciamento entre o referente e o mundo, a oscilação de linguagens ficcionais e não-ficcionais, levando ao intercâmbio entre literatura e narrativa jornalística, pintura, cinema, história, crônica, entre outros gêneros e expressões da tradição do pensamento ocidental.
