A partir da leitura de alguns poemas de Lero-lero, reunião da obra poética de Cacaso, este artigo interroga a visão de que a poesia marginal não tem relevância do ponto de vista literário, tendo sido constituiída apenas pela expressividade espontânea dos acontecimentos cotidianos, prescindindo de elaboração poética.
