Sumario:The studies by Guerreiro Ramos about the condition of the negro in Brazil restitute the question in new bases, identifying its nucleus in the consequence of the social pathology of “white” Brazilian and also in the attitude of the scholars that would transform the negro-life into ‘subject’. He considers then the assumption of the negritude and the social integration through cultural coaching, against which opposes Costa Pinto, when he affirms the superiority of the proletarian negro. However, both thinkers have been relegated by the racialism of the dominant speech in the present time.
