One reason for such maintenance of thymic load is justified by the modality believing in the unbelievable, which refers to the semiotic notion of concession, in other words, although it was not possible, such a thing happened. From the relationship between these two concepts, we could deduce an enunciatee in whose presence field tonicity is projected on temporality, creating an effect of persistence. |

Com base nas propostas da semiótica tensiva, analisamos, no presente artigo, o relato jornalístico do Caso Isabella Nardoni, inscrito na categoria jornalística fait divers, ou seja, notícias de caráter fortuito, inesperado, de patente caráter estésico. Em específico, examinamos a cobertura realizada pelo Jornal Nacional, noticiário exibido pela TV Globo, do assassinato de Isabella, menina de cinco anos, morta pelo pai e pela madrasta em 2008. O caso teve uma das maiores repercussões da primeira década dos anos 2000. Valemo-nos, aqui, dos conceitos de fidúcia e concessão para explicar por que malgrado o transcurso do tempo, a repercussão do caso em questão ter sido tão duradoura. Uma razão para tal manutenção de carga tímica se justifica pela modalidade do crer no inacreditável, o que remete à noção semiótica de concessão, quer dizer, embora não fosse possível, tal coisa aconteceu.
