O artigo intitulado A composição rock'n'roll de Sandman baseia-se no conceito de iconicidade, pelo viés da teoria semiótica greimasiana, para discutir a relação entre a série de histórias em quadrinhos (HQs) Sandman e os elementos figurativos da cena do rock'n'roll. O contexto histórico da HQ é discutido com base no trabalho do historiador E. Hobsbawm e também é feita uma discussão social sobre o mesmo período com base nas obras do sociólogo E. Morin.
