Sumario: | This article is based on the concept of iconicity, according to the Greimasian semiotics. Its aim is to discuss the relationship between the comic book series Sandman and the figurative elements of the rock'n'roll scene. The historical context of the comic books is discussed on the basis of the work of the historian E. Hobsbawm. A social discussion is also established and based on the work of the sociologist E. Morin over the same period. It is understood that the texts that are contemporaneously produced are characterized by the discursive inter-relation with the wide variety of genres found in the modern systems of communication. |
