O filme História sem fim, mote deste texto, concatena duas histórias diferentes, cada qual com seu sujeito (o do filme e o do livro lido no filme). A análise dessa obra mostra um enunciatário participante: o terceiro protagonista. O trabalho tem dois objetivos principais: (i) apresentar uma proposta de abordagem da construção da imagem do enunciatário no texto baseada no sujeito e na aspectualidade e (ii) discutir as possibilidades teórico-aplicativas de tal abordagem.
