In the theoretical corpus selected the studies of Roland Barthes in the books A câmara clara and O óbvio e o obtuso: ensaios críticos III, in which the author works with considerations about the photographic image, will be of great importance. Also the theoretical question of Walter Benjamin about translation may emerge, when we think of memory as a possibility of translation of personal experiences. The memory book Casa dos Braga, by the Brazilian writer Rubem Braga, will be used as a literary corpus, so that we can articulate the theoretical questions proposed.

Consideramos que as memórias podem ser processadas como um ato de fotografar experiências pessoais. Dentre o corpus teórico selecionado, os estudos de Roland Barthes são de grande importância, principalmente suas obras A câmara clara e O óbvio e o obtuso: ensaios críticos III, em que o autor trabalha com considerações a respeito da imagem fotográfica. Também emerge a questão teórica de Walter Benjamin acerca da tradução, ao pensarmos a memória como uma possibilidade de tradução das experiências pessoais. A obra de memórias Casa dos Braga, do escritor brasileiro Rubem Braga, compõe o corpus literário, a fim de podermos articular as questões teóricas propostas. Palavras-chave: Fotografia. Memória.
