| Sumario: | The University of Forest was a project that a few years ago sought to implementan innovative model of university in the Brazilian Amazon, which couldcombine advanced research on biodiversity with traditional knowledge of localpopulations. Based on an ethnography conducted at some important events ofthe negotiation process of this project, I intend to analyze controversies in thisinitiative to integrate scientific and traditional knowledge, in dialogue withsociology and anthropology of sciences. |
