We believe that the actions of CISAC and Pedrosa are charged with unusual power, which is why these reflections that we propose open up possibilities for new articulations in our present. |

La experiencia de Mário Pedrosa como creador del Comité Internacional de Solidaridad Artística con Chile (CISAC) forjó toda una red de afectos, manifestaciones artística y acciones políticas, donde fue clave impulsor del proceso y articulador de una trama que operó bajo los mismos principios que promovió: la solidaridad, la afectividad y la gratuidad de un apoyo desinteresado. El presente artículo nace principalmente de la sistematización y el abordaje crítico de las cartas de Pedrosa con los miembros del CISAC y artistas del mundo. Con este examen buscamos dar la debida relevancia al rol de Mário Pedrosa, en tanto fue un intelectual trascendente en el contexto latinoamericano, instalando debates y reflexiones que permearon su labor a cargo del CISAC. Creemos que el proceder del CISAC y de Pedrosa se presentan con una potencia inusitada, es por ello que las reflexiones que planteamos abren posibilidades de nuevas articulaciones en nuestro presente. A experiência de Mário Pedrosa como idealizador do Comitê Internacional de Solidariedade Artística com o Chile (CISAC) forjou toda uma rede de afetos, manifestações artísticas e ações políticas, nas quais foi um importante promotor do processo e articulador de uma trama que operava a partir dos mesmos princípios por ele defendidos: solidariedade, afetividade e a gratuidade do apoio altruísta. Este artigo surge principalmente a partir da sistematização e abordagem crítica das cartas de Pedrosa com membros do CISAC e artistas de todo o mundo. Com essa análise, buscamos dar a devida relevância ao papel de Mário Pedrosa, intelectual transcendente no contexto latino-americano, instalando debates e reflexões que permearam sua atuação a cargo do CISAC.
