La internacionalización no es una decisión sencilla sino una estrategia compleja que requiere la existencia de recursos tangibles e intangibles que, en el caso de la firma familiar, ameritan una reflexión particular. Con el propósito de desentrañar ese proceso se reconstruirá la trayectoria, en perspectiva histórica, de dos laboratorios argentinos: Bagó y Sidus. El estudio se abordó combinando dos enfoques, el de etapas, de la escuela de Uppsala (U-model ) y la perspectiva de recursos y capacidades (Resource based view).
