En este artículo el autor presenta una visión crítica a diferentes aspectos de la política monetaria durante los primeros tres años del gobierno aprista. De este modo, se caracteriza dicha política por haber adoptado como supuesto de trabajo que "el dinero no importa", es decir, que no tiene efectos sobre las diferentes variables macroeconómicas.
