In doing so, it sought to describe and explain the repercussions of these measures on the school’s daily life, as they affect both the teaching and the health of these professionals. |

Este artigo aborda os impactos de políticas públicas implementadas na rede estadual de ensino de São Paulo e, mais especialmente, suas repercussões na rotina escolar e na atividade docente. Entre os diferentes projetos desenvolvidos pelo governo estadual, destacaremos o Programa Gestão em Foco / Método de Melhoria de Resultados (MMR), realizado experimentalmente em 2016 e disseminado pela rede no ano seguinte. A pesquisa qualitativa acompanhou o processo do MMR entre 2016 e 2018 em cinco escolas.
