O objetivo do artigo é problematizar a expansão do trabalho precário atualmente em países da Europa Ocidental e Brasil, no âmbito da Indústria 4.0 e das políticas neoliberais sob os princípios da Nova Gestão Pública (NGP) que, no caso brasileiro, ganha novo impulso com a aprovação da Reforma Trabalhista do governo Temer (2016-2018). A pesquisa se valeu de estudo bibliográfico, documental e análise dos dados, em períodos selecionados.
