El presente texto es una síntesis de ponencias e intervenciones que he realizado sobreel tema en los últimos tiempos, y como tal fue leída en el acto de apertura del VIEncuentro Latinoamericano de Revistas Marxistas celebrado en Montevideo enseptiembre del año 2000.
