Após mais de dez anos da venda das companhias estatais de telecomunicações, esteartigo busca indicar algumas tendências relativas à configuração do trabalho no setor,significativamente modificado desde as reformas do governo de FHC. Neste quadro demudanças, cujo traço principal é o aumento expressivo das terceirizações, é possível perceberque o acréscimo de empregos não acarretou melhorias gerais das condições de trabalho,o que leva a uma redefinição das lutas e ações sindicais.
