O objetivo deste texto é compreender a heterogeneidade das experiências organizativas dos metalúrgicos de São Bernardo do Campo, mostrando como essas experiências se relacionam com suas tradições de luta e as relações que se estabelecem entre os trabalhadores e as empresas — Ford/Taboão e Volkswagen/Anchieta.
