Desde o lançamento de Reencontro e Debate, há trinta anos, o padrão de poder mundial passou por profundas e significativas transformações. Abriram-se questões acerca da crise do “materialismo histórico” – a versão eurocentrista da herança intelectual e política de Marx que desnaturalizou suas propostas teóricas convertendoas em uma doutrina – e a crise do despotismo burocrático, denominado “campo socialista”.
