O objetivo deste ensaio é recuperar a trajetória de uma organização clandestina que, apesarde ter sido bastante atuante e muito citada pela literatura acadêmica, permaneceu poucovisível na história brasileira: o Setor Militar do PCB ou Antimil. A particularidade destaproposta é apreender sua estrutura organizacional, no processo de intervenção nas ForçasArmadas entre 1929 e 1945, sem a pretensão de avaliar sua eficiência revolucionária ou todosos cenários em que esteve envolvida, devido à falta de documentação e estudos específicos.
