El propósito de este manuscrito es develar la construcción del mundo de la vida de la niñez Mapuche en una escuela de Temuco. Se indaga la interacción y coexistencia del niño Mapuche con sus pares en la vida cotidiana. El método es cualitativo, se sitúa desde un enfoque etnometodológico y diseño de caso único. Se aplicaron entrevistas semiestructuradas y observación no participante. El análisis se realiza a partir de una reducción de datos por el programa Atlas ti a través de procedimientos de codificación abierta y axial.
