Com base em dados climatológicos e de fluxo de energia, o presente trabalho analisa o comportamento microclimático observado em um importante remanescente de cerrado, no interior do estado de São Paulo. A sazonalidade climática é bem marcada, na área de estudo, com dois períodos climáticos (um seco e outro chuvoso). A vegetação apresenta sua fisiologia em função da disponibilidade hídrica e das condições térmicas locais, podendo-se observar marcada alteração da paisagem em função da maior ou menor presença de radiação solar.
