Sumario: | The article seeks to reflect on the effectiveness of the human and fundamental right to decent work in Latin America, based on the approximation between categories of decolonial thought and critical studies of law, as well as the literature review on the specificities of work and labor Law on this continent. The research has a theoretical nature and was conducted from bibliographical sources in the fields of law, history, sociology and economics, present in books and articles of specialized scientific journals.
