Este artículo examina, en primer lugar, las leyes de registro civil y los procedimientos burocráticos para restituir la identidad entre nietas y nietos de las Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo en Argentina. En segundo lugar, busca comprender los sentidos de los nombres y apellidos en la construcción de la identidad y la forma con que estos elementos son movilizados para constituir persona, recordar y defender derechos. Este artigo examina em um primeiro momento leis de registro civil e os trâmites burocráticos para restituir a identidade entre netas e netos das Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo na Argentina.
