description The process of planning, within the conception of an integrated curriculum, going beyond the specific contents of each discipline, allows the encouragement of reflection instances that surpass subject boundaries, promoting the development of intellectual processes common to all subjects. It is due to the recursive aspect of this type of planning that learning will result in inevitable articulations and relations that will set the ground for meaningful and integral learning. In this article, I describe the experience of integrated planning for the subject “English as Foreign Language” in Primary Level, within a public educational context, including cross-curricular contents on Human Rights as well as other subjects, and the meaningful implementation of new technologies into integrative activities.

The process of planning, within the conception of an integrated curriculum, going beyond the specific contents of each discipline, allows the encouragement of reflection instances that surpass subject boundaries, promoting the development of intellectual processes common to all subjects.
