description This paper presents an account of an innovative experience in the field of Library System of the Catholic University of Córdoba in order to collaborate in the development of a more inclusive education through a multidisciplinary input. It is voluntary in digitizing and editing of texts for visually impaired in collaboration with Inclusion Program at the University Disability, the Tiflonexos Civil Association and the Red MATE. It starts from the need to make volunteering accessible textbooks, raises the steps taken, the process of digitizing and editing is described, the difficulties encountered and the positive impacts expected are determined. It also raises the importance of multidisciplinary contribution to successfully develop the task.

Este artículo presenta una experiencia innovadora para bibliotecas universitarias, con el objetivo de colaborar en el desarrollo de una educación más inclusiva a través de un aporte multidisciplinario e interinstitucional.  Se trata del voluntariado en digitalización y edición de textos para personas con discapacidad visual. Esta experiencia se realiza en el ámbito del Sistema de Bibliotecas de la Universidad Católica de Córdoba, en colaboración con el Programa de Inclusión de la Discapacidad en la Universidad, la Asociación Civil TifloNexos y la Red MATE. Se parte de la necesidad del voluntariado en hacer accesibles los textos de estudio, se plantean los pasos seguidos, se describe el proceso de digitalización y edición, se determinan las dificultades encontradas y los impactos positivos no esperados.
