En este trabajo se reflexionará sobre la figura de los desaparecidos configurada durante la última dictadura militar en Argentina (1976-1983), a partir del análisis de dos lógicas discursivas contrapuestas, la castrense y la del informe Nunca Más elaborado por la Comisión Nacional sobre la Desaparición de Personas (CONADEP, 1984). El objetivo principal será mostrar el papel central que desempeñó la dimensión emotiva en la construcción de una imagen sesgada del Otro-desaparecido, resaltando y anulando ciertos rasgos de su identidad.
