Sumario:The objective of this article is to make visible the insertion of female graphic authors in a comic publication. We explore their strategies to enter and remain in the field and the difficulties associated with gender in specific contexts. We start from the reading and analysis of the corpus where debates about sexism/machismo emerge. We take into account the contributions of the poststructuralist feminist cultural critic and the discourse analysis, which allows us to rebuild the trajectory of recognized female authors/noveles. We conclude that the publication allows stretched places for the female authors even though it limits the access to the pages through different mechanisms.
