El presente artículo trata de dar cuenta de la relevancia para campos tan diferentes como la literatura, el psicoanálisis y los estudios de género de la figura de Sacher-Masoch, una personalidad que ha empezado a ser rescatada por la filosofía francesa a partir de la segunda mitad del siglo XX, después de haber gozado de mucha popularidad un siglo antes.
