El artículo entiende reflexionar sobre la tierra, la colonialidad y lo indígena a partir de la obra de José Carlos Mariátegui. Moviendo de lo que llama el “pecado original de la Conquista” su investigación del Perú profundo se traduce en una crítica radical de la modernidad: del capitalismo en los países “periféricos” a lo estatal; de la subjetividad burgués a la cultura nacional; de la idea del progreso y de un tiempo lineal al racionalismo abstracto y laico.
