It is not easy to investigate about violence, as well as it is not also to define it, disaggregate it and characterize it. The contingence of the concept is based on the symbolic and politic fight of the definition of violence, the violent people and the forced people. They are historical, changeable definitions according to the relations of force. This plasticity of the concept evidences the pertinence of the question about the construction of public definitions of violence. |
